Various efforts are being made by certain parties in the propagation of Islam in the country. These efforts are seen in the increase in the number of converts. The greatness of Islam has encouraged more and more people to embrace the religion. Last night, a Filipino lady chose Islam as her guidance of the true path. 35 year-old, Myrna Sitom, is now known as Meriam binti Abdullah. According to Meriam she embraced Islam on her own accord. She felt proud to have chosen Islam as her religion and pledged that she would remain a Muslim forever. The conversion took place at the home of Awang Haji Abdullah bin Haji Idris, in Ban 3, Kampong Sengkurong.
